Dianne Breeze dressage trainer artistDianne graduated from Liverpool Polytechnic with a first class Honors degree in Graphic Design. She then worked for the Liverpool Museum before returning to John Moore’s University to take a PHD research post, studying the history off ornithological illustration. A monograph of her work during this time has been exhibited at the London Barbican Centre.

Dianne is one of the UK’s most popular equestrian illustrators and her work can be seen in many equestrian books and magazines, including the BHS manuals and the popular Horse and Hound magazine.

Dianne has a great love of horses and has been schooling horses since the age of 10. Combined with her artwork, Dianne also finds time to work as a Dressage trainer and coach. She has trained horses successfully at all levels up to GP and competed Internationally in Spain.

Equestrienne Designs

In 1989 whilst working for Stephen Clarke Dianne made some cartoons depicting the funny characters, of the horses on his yard and with encouragement from staff she produced her first Calendar. This was a great success and the company “Equestrienne Designs” was created producing the cartoons on sweatshirts, T-towels, stationery, prints and other novelty items.  To purchase these items visit our shop.
